Our Measurement Maven for November is Peggy Simcic Bronn, a Professor in the Department of Communications and Culture at the Norwegian Business School in Oslo.

1st-norwegian-summit-logoLet me be clear: I’m not just naming Peggy a Maven for bringing me over to Oslo to speak about measurement. (Although the trip was a blast.) Peggy is a Measurement Maven for organizing Norway’s first Communication Measurement Summit. This day-and-a-half conference united business school students, graduates, and practitioners for a discussion of real-life and really good measurement.

She’s passionate about the field, embracing the Barcelona Principles, and advocating for good measurement to her students. She’s also adopting advanced measurement tools like ReputationInc and is teaching her students to go beyond media metrics to truly measure impact.

Thus, for her passion for measurement, and the impact she is having on future communications professionals, Peggy is this month’s Measurement Maven. Congrats Peggy and keep up the excellent work! ∞
