Katie Delahaye Paine launches communications measurement training company –
Will provide information, training and consulting on the new PR & Social Media Measurement Standards
Durham, NH — Paine Publishing, LLC (www.painepublishing.com) today announced the launch of its online publishing site that will leverage the knowledge of Katie Delahaye Paine’s two decades in measurement to provide newsletters, content, training and consulting to communications professionals.
“Ever since The Barcelona Principles were announced, people have been telling me ‘Great, but how do I make my organization compliant?’ I started Paine Publishing to help organizations establish effective, meaningful communications measurement programs that are in compliance with published industry standards. Our website www.painepublishing.com will be the one-stop source for anyone who needs education, training and consulting to bring their measurement program in line with these new norms” said Katie Delahaye Paine, CEO and Publisher. Paine has been a leader in the field of measurement for more than two decades and has founded two measurement companies; KDPaine & Partners, Inc. (now part of Salience Insight) and The Delahaye Group (now Cision).
Starting in October 2013, Paine Publishing will offer subscription-based access to a library of measurement white papers, books and webinars, as well as in-person, on-line and video training materials. “There is tremendous need for education and training on how to make your measurement program compliant with those standards. My books and consulting practice have helped numerous enterprises revamp their measurement programs, but people have been asking me when I’m going to write an update. This got me thinking that books take too long in an industry that is changing almost weekly. So why not reinvent how we deliver knowledge and training and create a site that is always up to date and available globally?” Paine said.
Paine Publishing’s programs will be tailored to specific markets and industries. “A key element to all the published standards is the focus on specific organizational goals. But goals vary by industry and market, so measurement training must be adapted to different goals,” Paine explained, “We are starting with specific industries where PR and Social Media measurement are business-critical like Travel & Tourism, and of course Non-profits. “
Paine’s latest book, Measuring the Networked Nonprofit, written with noted non-profit guru Beth Kanter recently won the national Terry McAdam prize for its contribution to the nonprofit world. “For nonprofits, Paine Publishing will leverage the expertise that we gained writing the book and continuously update and expand the tools and information we provide,” Paine said.
Paine Publishing offerings will be accessible to all sizes of organizations, with products that start at less than $10 a month.
