A self-described analytical communicator, Deanna Centurion spent a decade in risk communication, stakeholder engagement and regulatory compliance roles at companies like Dynegy and Washington Mutual bank before starting Cyera Strategies in 2006 to help energy clients navigate complex social, environmental and regulatory requirements.
During her 20+ years working in the oil, gas, utility, transportation and renewable energy sectors, she’s developed strong regulatory relationships and deep technical knowledge. Deanna’s passion for public safety, deep understanding of code requirements and ability to collect and synthesize data and ideas has fueled Cyera’s growth. Today she leads a team of six consultants who support a global client base including the largest integrated energy and gas utility companies in the United States.
Deanna has degrees in Journalism and Business from Indiana University and has completed certification coursework through the Gas Technology Institute, International Association for Public Participation and Harvard/MIT’s Dispute Resolution Program.
Head of Communications Analysis at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE
An award-winning communications specialist, Elizabeth Fry is the Head of Communications Analysis at NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE). Since beginning her NATO career in 2009, Elizabeth has worked at both NATO’s political and strategic military headquarters, and has won several awards for her work on military communications assessment and evaluation. She is also currently reading for a PhD at Kings College London, where she is conducting research on the Information Environment.
Elizabeth has a background in non-profit organisations, having worked in the communications teams of some of the world’s leading human rights organisations including Human Rights Watch, the Committee to Protect Journalists and Open Society Foundations.
Eve Stevens is a 20 year Communications insights veteran. She began her career with the PR agency Waggener Edstrom developing and running insights programs for brands spanning several industries. After going went independent as a Communications analytics consultant, Eve landed at Microsoft in the Comms Insights function in 2017. Her passion is two-fold: build world-class insights programs and processes that expand mind-sets and illuminate paths forward and help Communications professionals build, evolve and enhance their use of data and insights to achieve their professional and organizational goals. Gloria Puentes is Director, Diversity Community Relations for Sodexo, a leading provider of Quality of Life Services and over 428,000 employees in 80 countries serving 75 million customers daily.
Gloria is a passionate and committed practitioner of diversity and inclusion always striving to demonstrate how D&I makes a difference to grow revenue and the bottom line. Gloria works with strategic partners to bring programs to diverse communities that focus on enhancing the quality of life.
Gloria brings to Sodexo, a well-rounded background that includes sales and marketing, organizational change, external relations, and program management working for Hewlett Packard and IBM. She was also an entrepreneur running an event management company for five years.
Gloria is an alumnus of San Jose State University with a BS in Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Leadership from Duquesne University. Communications Measurement and Analytics at Southwest Airlines
With more than 22 years of experience, Cindy Villafranca began her career in television news as a producer for KOTV in Tulsa, OK. She left the news business after 8 years, transitioning to the PR field, where she quickly applied her news experience to internal and external communications, crisis situations, social media, and measurement/analytics. While in the public relations role, Cindy has worked for several large organizations and companies, including Tulsa Community College, the American Heart Association’s national headquarters, Balfour Beatty Construction, and currently, Southwest Airlines. Cindy’s expertise in the creation and execution of public relations campaigns on a local and national level, combined with her sound news judgment and diplomatic approach to all situations, has helped her succeed in driving business growth and recognition through key media placements and other PR tactics.
Charlene Wheeless is a renowned communications and corporate affairs pro, author, motivational speaker, and executive advisor with over three decades of experience in business, corporate affairs, and communications. In 2020, after a four-year health crisis, Charlene retired from Bechtel Corporation. She served as the principal vice president of global corporate affairs, responsible for internal and external communications, issues management, crisis communications, marketing communications, Sustainability, and CSR. She also served on the Board of the Bechtel Foundation and the Bechtel Political Action Committee.
Today, she leads her namesake firm, Charlene Wheeless LLC, and serves as the senior advisor for equity and justice at APCO Worldwide, a global advocacy and communications consultancy.
An important voice in shaping the future of the communications profession, Wheeless is the chairman of the board of trustees for the Page Society, the world’s leading professional association for senior public relations and corporate communications executives.
In May, her debut book, “You are Enough! Reclaiming your Career and Your Life with Purpose, Passion and Unapologetic Authenticity,” was released by Amplify Publishing and quickly became a best-seller on Amazon. The book chronicles her experience as a Black female executive, her courageous fight with cancer, and takes readers on a journey of reclaiming your life.

Wheeless holds a BA in Journalism/PR, an MA in Public Communication, and an MBA in Marketing. She resides in the Washington, DC Metro Area.

Michael’s early work involved setting up the research and data mining function for Microsoft in Australia over 6 years. He delivered a wide remit of market research and pioneered its integration with customer data, creating a range of predictive opportunities. His work on market segmentation and roll out of strategy helped Microsoft jump from under 20% market share to over 60% within three years.
As the Founder and CEO of Precise Value, Michael has spent the last 20 years building the know-how behind growth with various novel approaches to marketing strategy, performance evaluation, advanced customer models and their application to digital transformation. He takes a keen focus on creating new value from data analytics by transforming communications strategy to be value centric.
