We’ll Pay You to Pledge.

To Celebrate Measurement Week, Paine Publishing will pay $50 to anyone who pledges to support the standards on 9/15

August 27, 2014 Durham, NH— In honor of Measurement Week, Paine Publishing is offering a one day $50-off coupon to anyone who has pledged to support the Measurement Standards.

“I know in an election season we probably shouldn’t be buying votes, but you do what you have to do,” quipped Paine, “Pledging to support the Standards doesn’t mean you have to have a standards compliant measurement system in place. It just means you are willing to work towards that goal.” She went on to say the best place to start is at www.PainePublishing.com, with its library of educational materials.

Paine Publishing was founded a year ago to train, consult and publish materials about communications measurement. It offers a suite of white papers, video courses, newsletters and books about measurement.  Any subscriber also gets an hour of on-line consulting once a month during the Ask Katie Paine Measurement Hour. Paine Publishing also offers the Standards Compliance Curriculum, an in-depth instruction on Social and PR Measurement Standards, and the Travel Package to Compliance, a training package for Destination Marketers. Its flagship publication is its monthly measurement newsletter, The Measurement Advisor.

Paine has authored three books, but believes that its time for a new approach to learning about measurement. “Many of my readers wanted an ‘updated’ edition of the books, but that seemed to me like creating a more effective buggy whip,” she said, “We wanted to rethink the way we communicate about measurement, so we use a variety of different media to reach the broadest possible audience.”

Paine has been a leader in the field of measurement for more than two decades and has founded two measurement companies, KDPaine & Partners, Inc. (now part of Salience Insight) and The Delahaye Group (now Cision.)

“Ever since The Barcelona Principles were announced, people have been telling me ‘Great, but how do put them to use?’ I started Paine Publishing to help organizations answer that question,” Paine said.

Paine’s latest book, , Measuring the Networked Nonprofit, written with noted non-profit guru Beth Kanter recently won the national Terry McCadam prize for its contribution to the nonprofit world.

“For nonprofits, Paine Publishing will leverage the expertise that we gained writing the book and continuously update and expand the tools and information we provide,” Paine said.
